Going to Mars involves also a lot of resources but also some perks, the establishment in mining colony means the first country would have the biggest natural economic resources in gold, gas, iron, carbide, silver, etc... more than 500.000 trillion dollars in natural resources... the only country with sufficient technology to develop a spaceship and power to come to be established by a mining spatial colony is the United States but China and Japan are also involved.
